01 / StrategIQ Ventures
The proposal is the easy part.
I stay for the build.

I've spent 25 years taking on the projects no one else wanted to own or could finish. Turns out that's a career. Interim CIO, fractional CTO, head of product, board advisor: the title changes, the assignment doesn't. Help teams integrate practical AI, execute ambitious technical projects, and navigate chaos. And don't break the company doing it.
02 / Engagement
Three ways in.
Interim or fractional CIO / CTO
I embed with the team for six to twelve months, set the operating cadence, own the roadmap, and get releases predictable. Then I hand it to someone permanent.
Advisory and diligence
Product and technical diligence for founders, boards, and investors. Engineering and roadmap review, team and execution risk, and whether the AI architecture will survive contact with a regulator.
Hands-on build
When the fastest path is to build it myself: the launch site or app, the data pipeline, the prototype, the AI layer and its prompt strategy. An agentic engineering team building at a velocity not possible even twelve months ago. Nobody should be building like it's 2025.
